MODE

Standard – Recommended mode. It will preserve all object’s (text, images) positions with regarding to the pages, so that the output file will look exactly like the original one. When a user is not satisfied with the output rendered, he should also try the “Contiguous” mode as it can generate better results.

Contiguous – In this mode the original positioning is not preserved to save space. Lines of text will be positioned one after another, cluttering the pages.

Output Format

Word DOC - Saves all Word Document. Preserves all formatting. The output file is compressed so is smaller than RTF files. It is recommended format.

RTF - Rich Text Format (RTF): Saves all formatting. Converts formatting to instructions that other programs, including compatible Microsoft programs, can read and interpret. The output is not compressed.

Text Only - Saves text without its formatting. Converts all section breaks, page breaks, and new line characters to paragraph marks. Uses the ANSI character set. Select this format only if the destination program cannot read any of the other available file formats.

MS-DOS Text - Converts files the same way as Text only format. Uses the extended ASCII character set, which is the standard for MS-DOS-based programs. Use this format to share documents between Word and non-Windows-based programs.

HTML - Saves text with HTML tags. The resulting document can be viewed in a Web browser and/or placed on a server.

Filtered HTML - Saves text with HTML tags with minimal cascading style sheet formatting. The resulting document can be viewed in a Web browser.

Web Archive - Saves the text, images, and formatting as a single-file Web page.

Word Template - Save as a Word template. Saves all formatting.
